Learning Technologies Group wins Best Use of AIM at AIM Awards 2020

  • 25th annual AIM Awards look at how companies and individuals harness AIM to power their growth and fulfil their strategy.
  • Awards recognise LTG for demonstrating and implementing a clear growth strategy.

LONDON, UK–Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG), the provider of services and technologies for digital learning and talent management, has been recognised in the annual AIM Awards for Best Use of AIM in 2020. The AIM Awards, now in their 25th year, are presented in association with London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) and cover the period 1 August 2019 to 31 July 2020.

AIM Awards judges describe the winner of the Best Use of AIM accolade as “a company that regards its arrival on AIM as the beginning of a journey rather than a destination in itself. The winning company will have a clear growth strategy in place and will have demonstrated successful implementation of that strategy.”

The Best Use of AIM award follows a period of significant growth for LTG, which enhanced its portfolio of brands with five acquisitions during 2020. This included expansion into the fast-growing edtech/higher education market with the acquisition of open-source Moodle learning management system experts, Open LMS and the subsequent acquisitions of eCreators and eThink.

Regarding the award, Jonathan Satchell, Chief Executive of Learning Technologies Group said: “Since launching LTG and joining AIM in November 2013, we’ve grown the business to annual revenue of circa £130 million, and expanded globally to a presence in eight countries with a staff of 800+ people. Despite the many challenges of 2020, we continue to see growth, thanks in no small part, to the resilience, passion and ingenuity of our people. Our thanks go to them as well as the AIM Awards for this recognition.”
