LTG expands Diversity and Inclusion offer with acquisition of PDT Global

Highly complementary acquisition expands the capabilities and reach of LTG’s existing Diversity and Inclusion business, Affirmity.

LONDON, UK – 8th February 2021 – Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG), the provider of services and software for digital learning and talent management, has acquired PDT Global, a leading provider of online Diversity and Inclusion solutions.

PDT (‘The People Development Team’) Global is a UK-based Diversity and Inclusion training and consultancy firm with deep specialisms in the live virtual and digital delivery spaces. With a global network of facilitators, PDT supports an international customer base in addressing highly topical themes that include developing female talent, race allyship, sexual orientation and gender identity equality, leading remote teams, and inclusion as a strategic driver.

PDT Global will become part of Affirmity, LTG’s existing workforce compliance and diversity business, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The integration of PDT Global dramatically expands Affirmity’s global reach as well as its online training and diversity consulting capabilities, providing a greatly enhanced offering to customers.

Affirmity’s focus on workforce diversity metrics, benchmarking, and qualitative assessment enables organizations to understand their key issues with respect to Diversity and Inclusion, while PDT Global’s strategic consulting and online learning interventions will enable them to better address those issues at scale as part of a holistic, end-to-end solution.

PDT Global’s founders and management will play significant roles in leading the combined business.

Jonathan Satchell, Chief Executive of LTG, said: “I am delighted to announce our acquisition of PDT Global, which has an outstanding reputation as a trusted provider of high-quality learning solutions in the field. Not only does the combined proposition better enable us to meet the needs of our clients, it also provides the ideal platform from which to accelerate the expansion of our Affirmity business beyond North America to a broader international audience.”

Bruce Kile, Managing Director of Affirmity said: “As the U.S. leader in workforce compliance and diversity solutions, we are dedicated to helping customers establish a diverse workforce and inclusive culture so they can better compete in the marketplace. By combining Affirmity’s expertise in analysing diversity representation with benchmarks across the organisation with the global reach, consulting, and learning capabilities of PDT Global, Affirmity provides customers with a holistic, end-to-end solution.”
